It's time to decide!

We are starting another election period. The moment is a great scene. Politicians go up on stages, wear their masks, represent honesty and promise extraordinary changes.


Honesty concern the accomplishment of rights and duties is not a part of the strengths the politicians, and during the mandate is easy to realize it but, no one knows, like them, how to convince the people, even with a not memorable past ( or so memorable, that turn the candidate a laughing-stock) in exchange for a simple vote, simple because of the humiliation to which they undergo to be elected (in my opinion, nothing can change the personality, the character, the responsibility, of a man ). But, at the same time, each vote is very important.. when it comes to apublic asset, public opinion. We should be interested in and choose the right candidate based on moral values and ideas, not based on bricks and money, because if you are not interested in politics, ok, your option, no problem, but you will be governed by those who are.


This is another important point on brazilian laws, the democracy on election. Lots of people says that should not be mandatory. In my opinion, if you don't want to vote, you don't need to, it's a right of yours. But, on the other hand, I think that if it wasn't mandatory, most of people would not vote, consequently, they'd lose the chance to use a powerful weapon against corruption, government.. against everything they think that should change. So, is not so simple like it seems...


We usually associate politician to thieves uncommitted people.. But we can't generalize.. That's why our votes are so important, we need exercise our duties, like a citizen, and choose the best one, because every country has the government it deserves.
