Eating Disorders

Maybe you have heard about eating disorders, that frighten especially teenage girls; so in this post I will describe and warn about the danger of this disease.
The absence of healthy diet, concern with the perfect body and weight as well as excessive looking for beauty, going over the importance of health, as a result teenagers don't eat essential nutrient that support the metabolism for body operation and this can lead to eating disorders.                                                    Another problem is when the people refuse that have serious clinical problems and reject treatment with doctors. Furthermore eating disorder are allies with others disease as depression, abuse of substance and anxiety. Among eating disorders highlight anorexia and bulimia.

People that develop anorexia have a terrible and obsessive desire for thinness. The first sign are constant diets, fasting or excessive exercise. This happen because people with anorexia have their  psychological worked up, thus there a distorted view o f their body size and shape, even though have  body thin and undernourished, their  only see  a body overweight , therefore insist in crazy diet which may lead to death.

Anorexia, as a result of social pressure we suffer the 21st century, considered the image age.
Thereby the appearance worth more than anything, the extreme vanity exceed all limits, the ambition for beauty become a danger for life.
On the other hand people that develop Bulimia have eating habits and weight normal; however have crisis of binge for food, this happen generally hidden, because their feel embarrassed about the compulsivity for food. After their feel blame, try to purging food eaten, such as self-induced vomit, laxative use and exercises.
It's important to deepen lectures in school about eating disorders and encourage the parents presence for help teenagers in have a self-esteem and healthy attitudes about nutrition.

Euro Crisis

Hello! In this post I'll talk about Euro Crisis.

The world has been shaken by the debt crisis of the Europe countries. The Old World, cradle of Illuminism, Renaissance, and Industrial Revolution, ensured, in front of the world, the status of a region of high economy development and social welfare, but, the image built over centuries, is now associated with marked turbulence.

The impacts of crisis are large and we can clearly see in the world, like the high unemployment, declining sales and a reduction in spending. Just to get an idea, last week, I read a news that even the famous Nobel Prize winners, will face a cost-cutting, of 20% in the values of the awards.

The crisis that in the beginning was financial ( resulted from the impact of U.S. crisis on European banks) became fiscal, by the expenses incurred by the government to prevent unemployment, and it is today, politic, because the failure to pay, leads to a disagreement between the government and creditors ( in Europe, five governments have already fallen. Greece, Spain, Ireland, Italy and Portugal).

Most countries are included in this economic impact, because of the globalization, there is a relationship, of interdependence between governments, an example is the foreign capital injected into the investments that, due to crisis, subsided, weakening the general economy. The spanish banks have announced losses from unpaid loans, in the same way, are Germany, France and Belgium. Economists says that is far from a solution.

Here in Brazil, measures to face the crisis are being taken, one in particular was the reduction of the IPI ( tax on industrialized products ). According to the minister of finance, the reduction stimulates the economy and avoid layoffs.
The Minister' intentions looks good, but it's important to remember that the price reductions, and "facilities" in the purchase are only to avoid a crisis in the economy, we must not act reckless, buying without the actual need, because it would cause non-payment, wich is exactly what we are fighting against, to improve the economy.

So, is important to be prepared for the crisis, and the "temptation" to which the government offers us too (as the low prices), so that we are not victims of our own acts.

Siri

In this second post about technology i'll talk about Siri, the new iOS personal assistant.
Siri is the newest personal assistant which works on apple’s iOS.
Siri was introduced on iPhone 4S and it’s gonna be integral part of iOS 6 for iPhone 4S and iPad 3rd generation. Siri is connected to a server and uses it to answer all your questions.
Siri was first introduced as an app from Apple's App Store and was acquired by Apple. The Siri developers had announced that their software would be available for BlackBerry and for Android-powered phones, but all development efforts for non-Apple platforms were cancelled after the acquisition by Apple.

With Siri You can talk to your iPhone and it will understand you, here is some exemples:

.Movies.

Hey guys!!
How are you going?
Well, this is our first contact here on the blog about movies.

I'll start posting for you a list of 50 blockbuster movies, this does not mean they are the best, but it generated more profit.
Particularly I think there are much better films that are not on the list, but that is because there are several factors that influence such as year of release, ticket prices at the time, facilities with media and other things.

                                               Leader

Typically the leaders are the movies of the greatest production, as an avatar which is in the first place.
It's a big production and have fantastic effects, but honestly I think there are much better stories and screenplays, as Forrest Gump that is in last place.

So,why Avatar is in the first and Forrest Gump in the last place?
This happen because normally the year that Forrest Gump was released in 1994, access to the cinema was less and the price of tickets too, not to mention that the disclosure also didn`t have many media as in 2009, the year of release of Avatar.
This explains why a great script like the Forrest loses to Avatar, which is limited only to a big production in my opinion.

This post were for you know a little of the film industry, these movies on the list will help you in choosing a good movie to watch.
No doubt big productions!

In the coming posts I'll show you what is happening in industry, leave some tips and opinions.
I'll give you suggestions for good movies, award-winning and lots of amazing things.
Everything that happens in the big screen you can follow here.

I hope you enjoy.

Rock In Rio - Lisbon 2012

Rock in Rio is the largest music event in the world, having been presented already ten times, in Brazil, Portugal and Spain. Throughout the years, more than 6 million people have been to Rock in Rio. Its place of origin was Brazil, in 1985. Presented for the fist time in Rio de Janeiro, it already started with massive international repercussion, given the number of worldwide famous bands presenting at the event. The first edition outside of Brazil was the one in 2004, the first one in Lisbon, Portugal.
Rock in Rio’s goal isn’t limited only to the musical aspect. It’s partnership with POR UM MUNDO MELHOR project, which started in 2001, in Rio de Janeiro, aiming to make relevant social causes known to the public. The main objective of the campaigns used to be the improvement of social conditions and collective actions, which would be achieved by simply changing certain day-by-day attitudes and adapting them to the world needs. However, after 2006 the range of the campaigns changed to a broader one, and the main focus was to develop environmental-friendly conditions, not forgetting about the social problems.
Recently, in may, 2012, another edition of Rock in Rio was presented, once again in Lisbon, at Parque Bela Vista, in May 25 and 26th and June 1st, 2 and 3rd.
Keeping the tradition, many famous artists and bands performed through the concert days, including Metallica, Evanescence, Sepultura, The Offspring, Maroon 5, Stevie Wonder, and many others.
To ensure the performance of so many bands, the event’s infra-structure had enormous proportions, and many stages set in the Rock City. That way, there could be many bands performing at the same time, one not interfering with the other. There were World Stage, presenting the most famous bands who played in Rock in Rio; Sunset Stage, in which each concert consisted in two bands performing together and mixing their music, all that during the sunset, every day; Heineken Electronic, which mimics a nightclub, sponsored by Heineken and featuring DJs from all over the world; Rock Street, for the first time in Rock in Rio, a large space with stores and where less-known bands and street artists performed; and Street Dance, spot reserved for street dancers.
The first day of events had its space given to heavy metal. The most expected performance was Metallica’s, which attracted the largest part of the crowd at World Stage (approximately 76%). They revisited their famous “black album” and played other many songs, and they shared the stage with Mastodon, who played right after.
At Sunset Stage, the remarkable combination of the day was Andreas Kisser and Kreator, bringing more heavy metal to the event.
During the first two days of Rock in Rio, Rock Street had the largest crowds and great public acceptance. Throughout the day, before the night concerts began, Bug project managed to create great interaction between musicians, artists and the public, making the entry of Rock Street in Rock in Rio a remarkable one.
In the second day of the first weekend, Saturday, May 26th, Linkin Park and The Smashing Pumpkins were the main events, and Nobody’s Bizzness finished the day with its bluesy music.
Not only were there musical attractions, but the crowd had at its disposal a space similar to an amusement park, and it was really successful. Only in the first weekend, over seven thousand people rode Santa Casa’s rollercoaster, over ten thousand rode Millennium and Embratur’s Ferris Wheel, and over 800 people were at Pepsi’s slide.
Making justice to one of the event’s goals, which is making social programs public, the campaign Eu Vou de Bicicleta (I’ll go by bike) brought innumerous bike-riding spectators to the Rock City, and worked as motivation for the future, a motivation for using bicycles and other environmental-friendly means of transportation instead of the harmful cars. Noticeable, also, was the effort of Obra Nazareno organization, which, in a coordinated effort with Casa do Marquês restaurant, donated 120 meals to poor families at Marvila slum. Another environment-related effort was the due recycling of over 50% of all residue produced.
In general, few incidents regarding health and security were reported, nothing but some headaches, dehydration and alcohol excess-related problems, as well as a few small head-on conflicts and attempts of intrusion.
The third day of events was the following Friday, June 1st, and opened the second weekend of Rock in Rio. The musical highlights at World Stage were Lenny Kravitz, returning to Portugal after 4 years; Ivete Sangalo, who brought a great concentration of Brazilians to the event; and the last concert of the night, Maroon 5, for the first time in Portugal. Heineken Electronic went on until 4 A.M. and opened the fourth day of Rock in Rio - Lisbon.
The stages at Saturday night were occupied by veterans Stevie Wonder (20 years after his first and only concert in Portugal) and Bryan Adams, the young but already famous Joss Stone, and many others. Sunset Stage and Electronic Heineken kept going on schedule with more interesting mixtures and nightclub DJs, respectively.
Rock in Rio – Lisbon 2012 ended with Bruce Springsteen concert, at Sunday, June 3rd, night, and was one of the most remarkable and commented of all days of event. Sunset Stage’s last performances were combinations of Brazilian and Portuguese musicians, bringing performances by Erasmo Carlos with Rui Veloso, and Mallu Magalhães with David Fonseca.
Over 350 thousand people were present, and Rock in Rio will be presented once again in Portugal, at the same Parque Bela Vista, in 2014.

The World Cup is the biggest football tournament held every four years by the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). The first edition was held in 1930 in Uruguay, with the victory of the host team.In that first championship, there was no elimination tournament, and countries were invited to the tournament. Brazil and Spain are the only countries to win outside their continent (Brazil in 1958 and 2002 and Spain in 2010). The World Cup is held every four years, last time it was in 2010 in South Africa, with Spain as the winner, leaving the Netherlands in second place, Germany and Uruguay in the third quarter.
